Ian Bernstein

Born in USA, 1991

​

Ian Bernstein is a Los Angeles native, born and raised. He graduated with a Bachelors degree in Environmental Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz. His focus on education and environmental stewardship has led him to work as an Interpretive Intern with California State Parks and as a Research Intern for the Santa Monica Bay Restoration Commission. He is currently an Intern for Friends of Ballona Wetlands where he helps develop curriculum and leads the education program field trips. These programs are focused on engaging students and volunteers through hands on restoration work in the Ballona Wetlands.

 

In his free time he is an avid photographer and traveler. His travels include experiences in over 10 countries including China, Cambodia, Vietnam, Egypt, Italy, Portugal, and Costa Rica

These opportunities have given him the unique advantage of photographing  these unique protected ecosystems. His travels have also provided an amazing opportunity to capture not only the ecosystems of California, but of the whole world.
